Thanks, to everyone who made it out last night. A big thanks too, to Adam, Prairie Fire's actual bartender, who not only did his job last night but babysat me, as well.
I had an absolute blast and cannot wait to do it again, assuming they'll let me. It was great seeing so many friendly faces and I appreciated everyone's patience, as I hacked away behind the bar. It was a great call by Dan Sviland (aka Nordic Nectar, PF's GM) to make all those ice balls. They work so well in cocktails because they melt so slowly and keep the drinks cool w/out diluting them. Spherical Ice Tray SetI probably shouldn't have spent 3 hours on my feet just days before my hip replacement. I was really sore after my stint and was still feeling it this morning. Cartilage is highly underrated.

Btw, I think we raised nearly $200 (via the tip jar) for the Northern IL Food Bank, so thanks to everyone for their generosity in that regard, as well.
