Post #1 - August 31st, 2009, 3:47 pmWith Sun Wah in it's original location coming close to an end (I believe Kelly put the date as being Sept. 15), I thought it would be nice to have an LTH dinner there before it makes the move. Friday the 11th would work best for me, but I could also do the 12th, or even Monday the 14th. Bears season opener is Sept. 13, Sunday night game vs Green Bay, so that's not happening! Post #3 - August 31st, 2009, 6:05 pmSo I should have read the tips and guidelines for event planning before making my original post...my fault. That being said, I think it should Friday the 11th since the LTH picnic is on the 13th, and it might not be such a great idea to have another event the day before or after the picnic. I'm thinking sometime between 7 and 8 pm...and I would think a group as large as 12-15 would be okay. That would allow us to order a variety of dishes (Peking duck anyone?) and share with each other. I know this is short notice, but let's try to have a guest list some what nailed down by the 9th. I think I've covered everything. Looking forward to hearing from everyone.

Post #17 - September 1st, 2009, 7:28 pmThe date is pretty much set for Friday the 11th, unless there is a significant amount of people who would prefer Monday the 14th. Kelly said she can accommodate 40 people, and I'm hoping we can get at least a group of 20 of us, so Kelly and the kitchen can really go all out. Right now we have about 10. It sounds like it should be an amazing feast.

However, my mom lives right by Sun Wah, and we've had three excellent dinners there as a duo and would love to be part of a larger feast so we can try more!
Can we be in for 2?

I thought I had posted as much, but I see no indication here that I did so. Weird. I'm the vegetarian, but how hard can it be at a great cooking Chinese restaurant to get good food.
