Post #1 - May 31st, 2012, 11:40 amIt used to be called Jacky's - a reference to its original chef, the peripatetic Jacky Pluton (who may be best known for his short-lived, somewhat bizarre golf and cooking program on PBS, "The Fairway Gourmet"). It's now Hota, serving Nuevo Latino cuisine. Only open since January, Hota hasn't gotten much LTH love. But the Evanston Lunch Group™ is an open-minded bunch, so we'll make our own judgments on the quality of the food Thursday, June 21 at 12:30 pm. We're even open-minded enough to welcome interlopers who don't yet carry an official Evanston Lunch Group membership card.
