    Here in America, we call those Alaskan King crabs.

    wow...do you suppose just ONE of those legs is equal to several of the Alaskan King Crab variety? Interesting article but not enough details on the EATING solution.

    I mean..the guy says "they're as delicious as they are ugly" but come on...i want details! I want to see some dishes made out of these buggers. I want a huge vat of drawn butter with the legs next to it...

    Is that so wrong?

    These red king crabs, Paralithodes camtschaticusare, are identical to the Alaskan "variety," seeing as they hail from the same Bering Sea. They are not particularly novel to us, crab-munching gringos. Don't be alarmed, British journalism must be read with grain of salt and some drwn butter.

    The real news is not that these crabs exist in Norway, but that they are overrunning the local fish population and are considered a nuiscence, much like lobsters were in the Northeast during the last century. Since we are the "world's policeman", it think it is our patriotic duty to send Team America, or at least a few LTH troops over there to rid them of this menace. :lol:
