When in Asheville NC, Salsas (maybe it's actually called "Salsa Caribbean"?) is a great little Mexican/Caribbean place to eat... Everything they brought out looked amazing. extremely creative menu. Reasonable/casual, too...

If you're looking for a good seafood place where everything is fried, and two can eat at a full service place for $13 total, go to the Coach House. The hush puppies were rings, which was slightly strange... but everything was very very good. I really enjoyed the homemade crabcakes. (As an aside to that, the wine shop in Black Mountain was suprislingly good...had a lot of good selections, and prices were very reasonable....)
