In and around Fairfield, IA

Anybody have thoughts on good places to eat? We are planning a stop at a Maid-Rite along the way, but other than that we are wide open. Thanks.

I'll be going there soon, and I refuse to eat at a Perkins!

I do not have any specific recommendations for Fairfield, IA as I have not been there for 15 years or so. However, I would really doubt that it is a culinary wasteland. When Parsons College closed in the early 1970s, Maharishi International University was founded and Fairfield is now the center of the TM movement.

There are at least three Indian restaurants, some vegetarian options, and a few other options in a toen that is about 20,000.
