Le creuset dutch oven lid replacement

my mother in law has a specific but tricky christmas present request -- the round black "handle" on the lid of her le creuset dutch oven has cracked and only half of it remains. she would like a replacement. anyone know where I could score one? also, I noticed that her dutch oven is slightly smaller than mine . . . are there different sizes? anyhow, any wisdom or leads would be helpful (and if I am better off just replacing the entire lid, I am willing to do instead). thanks in advance!

I use to work at a retailer that sold Le Creuset and you can call them at 877-CREUSET or email them at cservice@lecreuset.com for replacement knobs.

I picked up a bargain at Cost Plus a number of years ago a 5qt oval oven brand unknown, cast iron coated with enamel for only $4.50 The handle on the cover broke so I went to Home Depot, bought a metal drawer pull for $1.95 and it has worked perfectly ever since.

I broke the lid on my large Le Creuset dutch oven earlier this year.

I called Le Creuset to ask about getting a replacement, and instead of just giving me the lid, they gave me a whole new dutch oven (for $75 -- they normally run close to $250).

It was a HUGE savings -- so now I have two Le Creuset dutch ovens, one with a lid and one without!
