Those I haven't tried, but I've not been happy with Bagel Dogs of any variety: too much dough, too tough-textured.
I've been using Pillsbury Crescent Rolls for years. You get about 12 dogs to the doubled-triangle (maybe it's 9, maybe it's only 6, I don't remember how we cut it up), with a delicate texture and wonderfully greasy mouthfeel.
Otherwise, I'll never touch dough-in-a-tube products. But so long as I'm already using meat-in-a-tube, this seems OK.
What is patriotism, but the love of good things we ate in our childhood?
