i did it then becuase i could not find a comprehensive source of info on these establishments

hopefully it can be of informational value or at least entertainment to anyone here

ive gone around and taken pics whenever possible
    ive eaten at most
im a fan to say the least and moreso i think of myself as a 'supporter'

i was drawn to this board by the thread i bumped about the 'mother in law' (tamale/chili), i thought this was of similiar relevance and interest

    enjoy

Hey Satan165, I like your concept. I don't think there's any site better than one dedicated to food. Especially Chicagoland food...

A few humble suggestions if I may. I like your pictures, but you really need to get yourself a better camera (digital perhaps). Also, get more aggressive with your shots. Get closeups of building structures, interiors, food (of course) and especially the kitchen(s) if you can get away with it. I know a lot of these joints are in tough parts of town where not many like to venture. So I think you're doing a unique and great thing. Keep it up!

I especially enjoyed this photo of yours the most.

I went to UIC and probably ate @ Jim's at least once every other day. It was perfect for a strapped college student. Now in judging your site links is it safe to say you prefer Bobak's to Vienna..?

Also when you have a chance, post a link to your Malt Liquor website on the "Something to Drink" or "Other Culinary Chat" pages here. It's an impressive list. I don't think I'd ever heard of more than half of those brands.

Oh! And thanks for the Maxwell Street Station bootleg coupons. :D
