I realize that this is a very broad question, but does anyone have any ideas for high quality places that deliver to the Streeterville or downtown areas?

I have the CEO Deliveries which includes Wildfire among others. I was hoping for something like Naha or One Sixty Blue or places of that caliber and food type.

While it's not delivery - the local better hotels may be able to do take away for you if you could pop over to the Ritz or the Park Hyatt (NoMi). I was working in the Fairmont for a week - I got take out from ARIA a few times. Anything on their menu is available to go.

    Thanks.
That's a great idea. A few dishes from NoMi would be outstanding.
Looks like my wife will be released from Northwestern/Prentice this week though, so hopefully if all goes well, it won't be an issue for a while.

While at Prentice make sure to run down and get some African food from the truck parked outside at lunch time. Eating jerk chicken in bed the day after delivery has become one of my wife's and my favorite things about making babies.

Hope your wife is doing well. Good luck.

When I was in Northwestern Hospital a few years ago, I used to get regular deliveries of food from Tuscany. Of course, my brother would have to go there and pick up the food, but they had no problems wrapping it up to go.

How about takeout from Coco Pazzo Cafe? It's not delivery, but it's darn good Italian and it's right around the corner.

Last night we did end up with Wildfire (through CEO Deliveries). They did a nice job. My wife had the NY Strip and I had the Filet Mignon. Sides were a cheddar baked potato (good and worth the extra money) and broccoli (very small piece). Desserts were a piece of chocolate cake and a Key Lime Pie.

The food arrived about an hour after the order. The packing was great with the steaks still warm. Both steaks were excellent as was the potato. The broccoli had a light butter sauce which was nice. The chocolate cake was massive so we didn't get to the pie.

Overall, we were extremely pleased with the meal. With my wife on doctor's orders bed rest for the near future (she had some pre-term labor) it looks like we are going to be spending some more time with our friends from CEO.
