Kalguksu cravings

Where to go now that Lincoln Noodle House is no more? I miss homestyle kalguksu, sujaebi, and mul mandu. Does anyone know of a place that serves these dishes?

I know that one of the places in the food court at Super H Mart (Manna) serves up these things, but I'm looking for a restaurant in the city. Any help would be appreciated!

By the way, if you're going to Seoul and are craving these things, pm me and I can point you to a place with excellent kalguksu and kimchi wang mandu!

I enjoyed the house-made mandu, both steamed and fried, at Crystal Korean.

If yer lookin' fer sujaebi (soo-je-bee), I liked what they served at Kokeeri / Ko Kee Ri ("Kokere" in the Korean phonebook) Mandoo on 4346 W. Lawrence in Chicago (773-205-5680). Not every restaurant listed is still in business, unfortunately, but there are still a lot of great places out there. As it's been a year or two since my last visit, it might be wise to give Kokere Mandoo a call before making the trip. Oh, and good luck with the Irving Park search for cafes; I might need a little help in that area as well.

was just looking at the menu of one of the places i enjoy... unfortunately, it's not in the city, but they have 2 of the 3 items you wanted:

(dalk) kalguksu (avail during lunch)
son mandu (steamed and fried)
and duk mandu gook

only had the mandu here, and they feel/taste homemade. whatever that means.
