LTH influence on Time Out Chicago's Best of 2006 list

Flipping through Time Out Chicago's feature on the 100 best dishes of 2006, I just couldn't help but notice that this forum has had a decided influence on several of its choices. The most obvious to me being Katy's Dumpling House (#4), Uncle John's BBQ (#5), Calumet Fisheries (#57), Burt's Place (#75), Riviera (#78 ), and Khan BBQ (#93). Obviously, many more of their top 100 have been discussed here, but I believe that LTH has put the aforementioned places "on the map."

I'm not complaining. The more influence LTH has on the mainstream media's food coverage, the more we as lovers of delicious food benefit. Better us than Check Please

I think Sol de Mexico (#90) can probably be added to that list.

Actually, I think it's right at the number of places that makes you feel warm and fuzzy for being influential, without being so many that you feel ransacked.
