    All:

I know there's been a thread or two about special deals at restaurants throughout Chicago on certain nights of the week (i.e.: Mon/Tue/Sunday) as captioned in the subject line above - I just can't find them on here after spending about an hour searching. Could anyone be so kind as to point me to the threads? Thanks a bunch!

Dunno the threads, but La Sardine and Le Bouchon both offer $22 prix fixes on tuesdays, and at least La Sardine offers half off bottles of wine on Mondays. Le Bouchon might, as well.

I know there are a ton of other restaurants doing the same.

Here's a good google search result that might help.

You might want to check metromix. They had an article about all the Tues. night specials in the city pretty recently.
Buona Terra, an Italian restaurant in Logan Square, has a great deal on Thurs--$20 for an entree, dessert and appetizer. The food there is quite good (not mindblowing, but very good and consistent) and the service is as friendly as can be.

The November issue of Chicago magazine (Bargain Dining) has a listing of offers in their lead article.

Dunno if this is still current, but during the late summer, Opera was offering a $25 tasting menu Wed. & Thu. I've been trying to go ever since I learned about the absurdly low price, but my gf and I can't seem to get our act together.

Just found out that Volo (small plate restaurant in Roscoe Village) has bottles of wine at 50% off on Monday nights, and a create-your-own 3-course price fixed meal for $25 on Tuesdays.

The Monday wine deal sounds excellent -- it applies to their "regular list" which I assume means all wines except some "reserve" selection??? Also, it applies toward every bottle purchased, not just the first bottle.

The Tuesday deal seems a little strange because after looking at the menu, I observed that it is possible to order 3 courses that would normally cost less than $25. But if you're going to order 3 of their more expensive dishes, then it's a good deal.

I've only been to Volo once, but I thought it showed great promise:

Meritage has signs in their window indicating mid-week specials
Contact them to confirm, my memory is imperfect

    Sunday 25% off bottles
    Monday 1/2 price glass pours
Tuesday some sort of prix fix menu
    Wed (or Thurs?) live music
(I think there may have been one more something, I'm sure I have the details wrong)

Edited to fix errors in what I thought I saw vs what was actually there.

Marche has a $25 prix fixe menu on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. You select an appetizer, entree and dessert, anything off the menu or specials. It's a great deal and can be an inexpensive night out provided you don't go crazy with drinks. I'm not sure if the sister restaurants (Opera, Gioco and Red Light) have similar deals.
