Every year my family and I go out to brunch on Easter Sunday. Over the last few years we've gone to North Pond, The Four Seasons, and The Ritz Dining Room. Does anyone know of any other places that serve a good "special occasion" brunch?

    Thanks.

Try The Center for Visual and Performing Arts in Munster. Their brunch is always spectacular, but special events brunches sell out fast. So if you're looking for Easter, you might want to book now!

    Here's their link:

For years my friends and I would go to the Jazz breakfast brunch at the Renaissance Hotel. It had a great jazz band playing and free champagne.

I've also been to the Palmer House's brunch and that was a major spread.

But again..this data is several years old.

I've been to the brunch at the Visual Arts Center in Munster several times (not my choice, believe me) and it's awful. The tables are squeezed together and the food is terrible. I've been to North Pond, Ritz Carlton and Four Seasons for Easter brunch as well and the Visual Arts Center is nowhere close in terms of food quality, level of service and atmosphere so I would strongly advise against going there.

Last year, we went to RL and it was delicious. There is no buffet--you order off of the menu--but we all enjoyed it very much. So if you're not tied to a buffet, then I strongly suggest it.
