What Are The "Wafers" In Volver?

In Pedro Almodovar's movie, "Volver," a certain cylindrical cookie the translation refers to merely as "wafers" have a supporting role. Does anyone know what kind of cookie these are?

(I checked the dessert section of "The New Spanish Table" and none of the cookies seemed like they were the same "wafers.")

I think they were barquillos.
