    LTH,

It may have been cold and snowy outside, but Volo was warm as freshly made brioche and hitting on all 8-cylinders as MAG and TPA's charming son Thor presented the LTHForum GNR Award

Volo was spot-on last evening. A few highlights.

Roasted bone marrow w/three types of salt. (This dish rocks)

    Duck confit

White bean soup w/escarole and truffle oil. (Which my wife loved)

Volo's staff could not have been more efficient or friendlier.

Peter's friend Ms. Sammon stopped by to say hello.

And as is typically the case, Thor charmed everyone in sight.

The only discordant note of the evening was when we did not quite enough to cover the bill they put Thor to work cleaning the baseboards.

Erik (SushiGaijin) kindly posed for a picture with the Anti-Cruelty Society's Dog Days Calendar, of which he and his Chihuahua are February

A very nice evening and well deserving LTHForum Great Neighborhood Restaurant recipient.

fantastic pictures, and now I will assuredly be back to Volo soon - the bone marrow is one of the single best dishes in the city. Simplicity is beautiful. I've ordered the Bone Marrow and Duck Confit each time I've been.

    Well earned GNR for Volo.

    Thanks Gary!!

also, you left your glass of makers when you departed. Hope you don't mind that I found a willing home for it. I guess I'll get the next one :D

    Erik.
