Hoping you guys can help. I did a search on the forum, but couldn't really find anything too conclusive. I'm looking for recommendations on places in Chicago that focus on using grass-fed beef and organic ingredients.
I am aware of a few places in particular, i.e.,
-
Karyn's, a raw-food restaurant. We have not tried this place yet, although my boss, a raw-foodie, claims it's excellent. I understand this place doesn't serve meat, and everything is uncooked. I know that Karyn has a
cooked menu, but it appears everything is vegetarian on there as well.

Vie in Western Springs. I understand that this place focuses on using local, fresh ingredients, and they seem to have a few organic items on the menu. We're actually going here next week for the hubby's birthday. Looking forward to trying out this place!
We also went to
Custom House a few weeks ago, and they have some organic meats and items on their menu, though I can't say it was really 'sold' or explained to us in much detail when we asked about it.
I have heard there's a few restaurants in Chicago that serve Tall Grass beef (Harry Caray's, for one). Are there any others that you'd recommend?
We're not vegetarians. My husband and I both like our meat. We've just been trying to turn our focus to a healthier diet involving more organic foods, raw dairy, and grass-fed meats. Any places you know that have a number of good choices in this realm would be appreciated.
