I am leaving my current job and embarking on a new career! So my team wants to take me out one last time. I'm blanking  (this is a first!) on what I have a taste for so I was hoping you could provide some of your favorite downtown lunch destinations which would ideally trigger my taste buds.

These are the kind of places we usually frequent for special occasions (Aria, Sushi Samba, Meiji, Bandera, Japonais, De Cero, DeLaCosta, Blue Water Grille).

    Thanks!

I had lunch at Blackbird today and it was outstanding. Mmmmmmm...pork belly sandwich.

Based on your list of places, a festive place might be Carnivale. It's got decent food and an entertaining atmosphere. Good sangria, too.

Yes, many times. Cafe Spiaggia is my favorite place for a "nice" lunch. The food is universally excellent, although it's not cheap, it's not exactly outrageous either.
