OK, here's another PTA Mom dilemma: for Sparky's school's "Sea Animal Night" we're supposed to bring a potluck "C" food.
Since not all kids are as adventurous as Sparky, I need something kid-friendly. My original idea was
Chicken
Cacciatore; it's easy and pretty kid-friendly. However, it doesn't really match the theme of the event. I looked up "C" in the Epicurious food dictionary - came up with "Cephalapod" which we think are great (at least squid and octopus are; I've never eaten a chambered nautilus) but again, not too kid-friendly. I thought about
cod
cakes, but they don't strike me as something that will travel well.
Any ideas for something both "sea" and "c" related that sounds good for a kid's potluck? I'm sure the answer is staring me in the face....
I know, I know - I take this stuff waaay to seriously....
