I'm new to this forum.
I am a partner in a small catering business and am in need of piquillo peppers from Spain. Does anyone know where these are available in the Chicagoland area?

Post #3 - March 17th, 2007, 6:38 amDo you mean fresh or bottled? I currently have a small (10 oz.) bottle of Bajamar label peppers that I bought at World Market for $3.49. Post #4 - March 17th, 2007, 7:03 amYou can get them at Chicago Game & Gourmet at 350 N. Ogden, but only in a #10 can.
The deli inside Cafe Iberico used to have them in about 1 lb. cans, which is much more convenient, however last couple times I sent Himself there on his lunch hour to pick some up, they no longer had them. But that's been a couple years, might be worth a call.
A #10 can is a LOT. I have one sitting in my kitchen that I bought for a big tapas party and then the guests arrived before I finished cooking:-) Now I have to wait for another large gathering.
