    HI,

A friend sent me this treasure, which I pass onto you. This link not only has the lyrics, there is an option to hear a woman sing with verve!

Lime Jellow Marshmallow Cottage Cheese Surprise

That's great - I'm sending it to my Mother-in-law who is a great cook, but is unfairly remembered by her children as the creator of Lemon Jello Salmon Mousse.

    HI,

Wouldn't it be fun to have an all jello meal from appetizer, main course and dessert with an after dinner cheese course? Every bite will be cool, refreshing and make your mouth giggle with all the jello wiggles! (if only there were jingle contests)

This classic is occasionally played on WFMT's The Midnight Special - folk music with a sense of humor. The woman is Joan Morris.

The reference according to The Midnight Special's website is:

Bolcom and Morris are husband and wife and both on the faculty of the University of Michigan. He is a composer of note, winner of the Grammy Award and the Pulitzer Prize.

Here's a terrific music video of the two performing "Lime Jell-O" in Ann Arbor: Windows Media or RealMedia
