Anyone been to Convito Italiano recently?

There's a winemaker's dinner there in about a month that sounds interesting, but I haven't eaten there for years and though I remember it was ok, I guess it didn't overwhelm me as I haven't been back. Anyone with recent experience?

i had lunch there today, a good/serviceable salad with pear and gorgonzola, and a slightly too sweet citrus vinagrette. the place was packed with ladies lunching. the deli case looks really, really good. 4 kinds of lasagna, fresh pasta, lots of vegetable salads like marinated beets, broccoli, things with artichoke hearts, it all made me drool. many italian cheeses and wines with a knowledgable wine staff, and fresh bread. i saw that they have a wine taster's event on thursday october 21.
