I am going to be staying around Navy Pier this weekend and was wondering if anyone could suggest a good place for breakfast on Sunday morning in the area of the city where we are staying.

    Thanks.

That's a tough area-- you're mostly going to have hotels and their places around there, along with tourist places and a whole lot of Starbuckses.

One possibility that occurs to me-- surely the fancy Fox & Obel market's cafe does breakfast too, though I've only been there for lunch.

My first choice would be PJ Clarke's, on the corner of Illinois/ Fairbanks in the Embassy Suites building, they do a nice Sunday breakfast. Additionally, there's a breakfast joint called the West Egg, on around Fairbanks/ Ontario.

The West Egg is my favorite around there.

Besides West Egg, my go to place in that neighborhood is the Cambridge House. Classic Greek Coffee Shop. Don't miss the rice pudding after breakfast, if they have it.

My wife and I often go to Fox & Obel for breakfast, although the kind and extent of its service has varied over time (from menu/table service to quasi-cafeteria). We find the lox platter (with an extra bagel for splitting the platter--it's enough for two) to be not only of excellent quality but an excellent value.
