...Round the Clock Family Restaurant. It now has a Dutch Barn theme inside and out. The newly renovated restaurant has been completely gutted and decorated. Interesting concept from their desgner Martin Cain, who has remodeled all of the Round the Clock restaurants in Indiana. Highland still is the same size, but much different, and interesting in it's decor concept. It has a gas burning fireplace in the middle of the room, and plenty of room now for large parties. No more typical back to back booths, in this place. Excellent food, new desserts, new menu items, in their spiral bound menus, and business is booming since the re-opening. No longer open 24 hours a day, only on the Friday and Saturday nites; the non smoking atmosphere is making diners much happier in not having to sit around second hand smoke. It opens daily at 6AM and most nites, closes at midnite. Friday and Saturday nites are 24 hour operations.

They have good catered foods to. They donated barbecued meatballs, mashed potatoes with dill, green beans almodine and fried chicken for some of the Boy Scout Eagle Dinners in our area. We've also had some things donated for dinners at the American Legion our family supports to raise money for disabled veterans.

For somethings. They do support a lot of organizations. They have given free things, for some of ours, as I mentioned. Even more on their website: www.roundtheclock.com I'm in the Civitans, my husband is too, and he is with the Elks, and Masons. I don't like Denny's or IHOP. They have good cheesecakes and cream pies at RTC. We love the cheesecakes.

Yeah, I know your opinions Mike H. You've already posted them.

You go to a new site, and see how they treat you for a let say, travel, or something you will have a low post count. Just because I have a low post count and don't get on here often, doesn't mean I don't go out. It means I don't have time, all the time. And I don't make it out to most of the places in Chicago. So I can't comment on those.
