For many years I have tried to find restaurants serving excellent Italian ravioli, either served in a meat sauce that I loved at Toscano's restaurant on South Oakley in Chicago or prepared Al Forno (baked in butter and cheese) as it was at Riccardo's on Rush Street in Chicago.

No luck (so far) on the Al Forno style, but I have found a good Italian restaurant in downtown LaGrange that serves homemade ravioli in a very tasty meat sauce. Marconi's is definitely worth a try.
Just plain good food; I'm not a calorie counter.

It might be too late now, but the most excellent Ravioli al Forno was found at the now shuttered Stephani's on Fullerton. You might be able to get it prepared the same way at Tuscany on Taylor or one of the other Tuscany locations around town. It's worth looking for if you've got a taste for this dish.
