    Oh Please.

If anyone goes to Pilsen, ask the locals what's good for an honest answer.

The above was appended to one of the GNR lists left unlocked.

Probably drive-by razzing, but just in case... so what do YOU like in Pilsen FoodCritic?

The Pilsen Milagro Flour tortillas are fantastic! I highly recommend them.
And as a disclaimer I have no financial interest in them nor have they asked me to post a positive review.

Not related to above: My pet peeve is that there are long established ethnic places that big money new competition tries to both appropiate their reputations and unfairly criticize them. So much money is involved and high powered publicists, I'm just saying you can't believe everything you read. Anywhere.

So far all these big-money types have been staying away from me in droves. Can anyone in the know point them my way? Because I could use that kind of an opportunity. I am tired of posting my opinions here without compensation.

You mean you have your own opinions, Jim? Hell, I don't even log on for less than $10,000.

In all seriousness, FoodCritic, since it appears your comments were originally directed at one of the GNR winners (though I don't know which), you should know that nothing here wins a GNR without broad support from a big chunk of the community. So unless you're a large-scale conspiracy theorist, consider the possibility that just beacuse you don't agree with somebody's comments, that doesn't mean that person is on the take. If you ARE a large-scale conspiracy theorist, I suggest you show up at the annual LTH picnic and see if you still think this crowd is being paid to post.

Hah! You tool of the large-scale conspiracy. Don't realize that the pincic is just a sinister plot by LTH conspiracists to hijack a Forest Preserve grove and cause people to have a good time for an entire afternoon?
