    I see a place known for planting overly positive reviews here.
    Now I will consider LTH reviews with a grain of salt.

    If you are suspicious that a review was placed by a shill, you should point it out to the moderators and let them know.

    I don't know whether or not the OP was accusing anyone of having a bias or vested interest in an overly positive review.

    FWIW, I have seen some reviews here that I consider overly positive, and others that I consider overly negative, based on having experienced the place in question. Same as on most boards (and not just food boards, I might add). And yes, sometimes that may be based on a predisposition to rate a place more positively or negatively, for all kinds of reasons, but unless there is a specific reason to assume otherwise, I just chalk it up to a difference of opinion.

    <shrug>

    I would encourage the OP to continue to post his or her opinions here, regardless of whether or not they may agree with other postings. Food, after all, is all a matter of taste - both literally and figuratively. If we all had exactly the same taste, the offerings in the food industry would be a lot more homogeneous than they are.

    Disclaimer: I have no financial association with any any businesses in the food industry, other than as a retail customer.

    If the OP has something to say, he/she should state it clearly, not make cryptic accusations. The original post just makes it seem that he/she is trying to stir the pot.

    FoodCritic,

    If you have something constructive to say, we will be glad to hear it.

    If you have a specific accusation to make, please make it to the moderators at moderators@lthforum.com.

    If you're just here to stir the pot and cause bad blood, you will quickly find out that we don't allow that kind of mindless vandalism here.

    Mike G,

    I think this is a perfect follow up to the first post of FoodCritic
