Boka's online menu does not have a dessert section. Do they serve dessert? If not, is there another restaurant of similar price, atmosphere, and use of original, contemporary flavor combinations that does? Thanks!

They do, and we shared a pineapple upside-down cake the other night there that was delicious. My whole meal was outstanding, from a pea soup with crayfish and tiny beignets, to veal cheeks with homemade mustard, to dessert. Re dessert, I'd say there were about a half-dozen choices in the Edible Desserts category (they also have a category called Liquid Desserts, i.e. after-dinner drinks, as well as a selection of cheeses). Although it hadn't been years since we'd been (the previous time was only last March), I left thinking, "Why don't we come here more often?"

I was at Boka last fall with a group of friends and we really enjoyed our meal there. In fact we enjoyed it so much that we decided to go crazy and order each of the desserts on the menu to share (in retrospect we may have had a little too much wine with dinner that night.) Anyway, the desserts were really fantastic and they are the main reason I've been pestering my husband to return soon.

    Hope that helps!

The BOKA from last fall is a completely different restaurant from the BOKA of today. The new Chef is Giuseppe Tentori, former Chef de Cuisine at Charlie Trotters. It's a brand new menu, slightly different decor and a whole new attitude. I love the food that Chef Tentori is putting out and the desserts are stellar as well.
