I'm a fan of the Japanese cookie/candy known as Pocky (by Glico). I like to try flavors other than the original chocolate coating. Can anyone point me toward stores that sell a variety of Pocky flavors? I know it would be easy to find in Arlington Heights, but I'd prefer locations in Chicago. Thanks!

Most of the Vietnamese stores on Argyle sell pocky. So do some of the stores in Chinatown. I believe Grand Mart has 3 or 4 flavors of pocky last time I looked.

I've bought multiple flavors of Pocky at many places in Chinatown -- you wouldn't have to look too far to find 'em.

All the suburban Korean stores have them, too.

    HI,

I have seen them at Mitsuwa in Arlington Heights.

Now, if only someone can point me toward a source of tea pocky(not green tea pocky)...used to be able to find it many years ago at all the usual suspects(and around the country)...then suddenly...nada... :(

You might try BeBoBa. I'm not 100% sure which varieties they carry, but they have a bunch and may be willing to order the one you're looking for!

I haven't been in a while, but I always used to buy Pocky's at the Cost Plus World Market across from the whole foods on North Av.

Chicago Foods on Kimball usually has the regular flavors- plain & strawberry- though the previously mentioned Mitsuwa and the other "Japanese Mall" grocery store down the road opened my eyes to multiple varieties of the stuff.

My favorite: "Men's Pocky" which comes in a dark green box and uses bittersweet chocolate.
