Sorry for bringing up ol' #6 (the Padres had his number placed on the outfield wall where he hit that homer; although it is no longer there since the move to Petco).

Getting back to the OP (me):

    New Itinerary:

    Friday:

Breakfast - at Orange (or Dunkin Donuts if my fiance gets her way!)
    Lunch: Al's #1 (with a Lemon Ice from Mario's)
    Dinner: Boka
    (Second City)
Drinks - Signature Room (or Matchbox)

    Saturday:

Breakfast: Lou Mitchell's or Uncommon Grounds
Lunch: Hot Doug's or Weiner's Circle
Cubs v. Padre game at Wrigley
Dinner: Custom House (should I do this or Gibson's?)

Late Night Snack: Lou Malnati's Pizzeria

One last point. My fiance is Greek, so, we may need to sub out the Custom House with something in Greek Town....any ideas?

I'd sub out Custom House just on general principal if it were me. I'm not much of a fan of that place. Instead, I'd visit David Burke's Primehouse, Gene & Georgetti's, the original Morton's on State or Gibson's if someone really wanted to go (in that order). Greektown is not a bad option, either. Santorini has great grilled-over-coals fish and seafood. Costas, is a bit more "refined" in its cooking than many of the other places and is a good option as well. Here's a linkto a discussion of Greektown dining.

If you want a steakhouse, don't go to Custom House. I do love it there and even though it is decidedly 'meat-focused,' it isn't really a steakhouse, per se.

I don't really have a favorite steakhouse, at the moment. I do like Gibson's but I find it to be erratic. I've only been to David Burke's Primehouse once and it just didn't do it for me. Smith and Wollenksy would probably be my favorite, if I had to choose but you can get that anywhere. I do like the Gene & Georgetti's suggestion because it is very 'Chicago' but service there can be a bit rough if you're not a regular.

Santorini may be the call given that we are going to spend part of our honeymoon there! Although I do love Steakhouses....

My vote is for Bongo Room as well. The one is south loop is less crowded, but if you want an urban neighborhood feel, go to the one in Bucktown.

Other breakfast suggestions...Wishbone. There is one is West Loop or in Lakeview.

In case you are looking for something fun to do after your dinner, the Tasting Room in West Loop is great for wine and an incredible view of the city. However, the W has a nice lounge to come back in as well.

I also am a big fan of Mario's for Italian Ice...if you want a fancy dinner before that, Chez Joel is right across the street and has outside seating. Pricier dining, but nothing extravagent.

Don't forget to stop by museum campus to see the new globe display when you head over to Millenium Park. You can actually make it a separate outing.

    Have fun!
