Weekend Eating: Le Titi de Paris and Blackbird

What a weekend - took a visitor to Le Titi de Paris on Friday night and then Blackbird on Saturday night. Le Titi was excellent, really very very good. The highlight was the chocolate souffle (and perhaps my husband pouring someof the souffle sauce into his chocolate mousse, much to the amuzement of the waitstaff!). Blackbird was exquisite - that endive salad is incredible, simply the best salad I have had anywhere. And the lamb - perfect.

Thank you to everyone who posts on this board, without this board I woud not have had those fantastic food experiences.

Le Titi does have great soufflés. I have a friend who claims they're even better than those at Ambria (and yes, that was before Ambria closed).

Another race to Ambria! The last time was the week before the foie gras ban went into affect. (Ambria had some of the best seared foie gras in the city.)
