I went to the Eiffel Tower a few years ago. Keeping in mind its location 40 stories (I think) above the strip and across from "Lake Bellagio," the real draw here is not the food. Having said that, and having been seated against the windows near a gorgeous view of the dancing fountains at Bellagio, I had an excellent experience here. The service was great. I stuck with the standard bistro fare, and had no complaints. It tends to get a bad rap, so I don't know if my experience was an aberration or if people tend to have unrealistic expectations of French bistro food as it's typically no frills. (I found that the menu was comprised mostly of bistro classics, with some dishes foraying into haute French cuisine. I can't comment on the current menu.) I think if you go looking for a well-rounded experience, a night out, and having reserved a table near the windows, you'll do fine. If you're looking to be wowed by the food and don't care about the ambience, you may be disappointed.
