Eurofresh Market Opening In Tinley Park,IL Today

This will be like an oasis in the desert for someone like me,who used to live fairly close to 'Jerry's' in Niles or 'Market Fresh' on Oakton in Skokie....God Bless Cub Foods for closing......

Large-scale Tinley Park grocery to carry fresh food with an international flavor

Eurofresh Market in Tinley Park is like the Epcot of grocery stores.

Foods from many countries are given ample shelf space, with entire aisles devoted to specialties from Germany, Greece, Italy, Mexico, the Middle East and Poland.

Eurofresh opens for business at 7 a.m. today in the former Cub Foods store, 16000 Harlem Ave.

Store manager Javier Pena -- who managed the Cub store for 11 years -- boasts Eurofresh has the largest produce section and longest deli counter in the southwest suburbs.
