I finally tried this place, in the old Moho Grill spot west of Dominicks. The only comment on it that I saw here (on the Pita Inn thread) was negative, but I liked it a lot. I had a chicken shawarma salad, (it is not on the menu, only a chicken Kabob salad) and it was very good. I thought that the shawarma was more flavorful that Pita Inn. I am not a falafel expert, but I thought it was the best that I have had as far as crisp exterior and moist interior was concerned. It is maybe not very spicy, but there was an excellent dipping salsa that took care of that. My 13 year old said that the beef shawarma sandwich was the best "gyros" he ever had. I cant imagine that they make their pita in house, but they are very good and fresh. The service was friendly, and the prices very reasonable.
I was there at 12:30 and there were only 8 other customers, so I dont know how long they will last. It cant be that bad a location because the hot dog place, and the burrito place, and even Rammy's (the only sub place that has ever made me wish I was at subway) were all crowded. I think that it is a good addition to the area, and I hope they make it.
