    hesitant to reveal the location...

but is anyone familiar with bartley's?

kick ass whisky cocktails and prime steak, with a lobster tail, worthy of a 'crustacean booty' callout.

from the tubs of barside (gratis) pub cheese and ritz crackers... to three bean salad and cottage cheese side dishes, accompanied with (by request), a ridiculous dessert of a, ten scoop high brandy whipped, vanilla ice cream dish...

this is one place, that will recall, anyones' father's gustatory 'buick' era.

Been tippin a pint at BH many a Friday night while working in K-Town. Buicks? Real men recall Nashes from the Motors on the lake and 52nd Street. Currently in Dublin downing the finest, freshest Guinness. Took the factory tour yesterday and had a pint on the 7th floor Gravity Bar. Off to Kilkenny next.

I read a lot into stevez's two-word question, and everything I read into it, I agree with. Namely: On a message board that's all about sharing information, what place is there for being "hesitant to reveal the location"?

I find myself in full agreement with Riddlemay.

    i'm sorry, folk...

i'da thought... the 'waldo' tag, would've been a flag for a fun hunt.

oft we pay dearly (and quite merrily) for a 'primal' meal, we're unwillingly to travail to hunt...

obviously... there are some here, who find an effort to grunt, sufficient, to call out a carniverous sloth's meal.

bartley's... hugs and kisses to kathy and forehead slaps to all others

I spent 18 of my 21 years growing up in Kenosha (which is why I get giddy when I see references to The Coffee Pot, Tenuta's, Frank's, etc.). For my father's 50th birthday we enjoyed a dinner at The Bartley House. To say I enjoyed it is as big of an understatement as I've ever made. It's still, to this day, the best steak I've ever had in my life. The accompaniments were beyond excellent as well. Though beyond my current (college) means, I've been dying to go back for some time now.
