I know it might be a long shot, but I was hoping someone might be able to point me to a reliable restaurant in town that has sirloin Oscar.

If any of you have ever had the opportunity to sample the sirloin Oscar from the Keg steakhouses (commonplace in western Canada, Ontario, and a few sites scattered across the US), that's exactly what I mean. It's a sirloin steak prepared with a bearnaise sauce, shrimp, scallops, and other seafood goodness. I'm looking for something relatively similar, since my own ability to prepare a steak of that caliber is sadly quite limited. :)

As I'm from the Npvl area, anything in the western suburbs is preferred as a starting location but really, I'm willing to go fairly far afield to surprise my boy. :)

I believe Sullivans will "oscar" any steak, just ask.

Steak Oscar and Diane were my go to orders back when I had ready access to the Plaza Club. I preferred the Steak Diane frankly, all the sauce and seafood got in the way of the steak in my humble opinion. but the Oscar was the best I have had.
I used to think the brain was the most important part of the body. Then I realized who was telling me that.
