Are these locally grown musk melons different from a cantaloupe? Is a cantaloupe one type of musk melon or are the two more or less synonymous? (Please excuse my limited knowledge.)
What are some other good melons this summer?
I heard once that unless you live in some far away place you probably have never had a real canteloupe, but that most melons sold in the US are jsut variations of musk melons.
Not sure if it's true.
