May St. Cafe?

Some friends have suggested trying out this restaurant and I haven't been able to figure out two things:

1) Is their menu extensive? There is only a "sample" menu on Menupages and my boyfriend has dietary restrictions, so I'm hoping they are lots of options.

2) What is the real price range? Metromix says entrees range from $8-15 and Check Please's site says $28 per person.

If you've been, what do you recommend? Are the pear and brie quesadillas really as good as everyone says?

I was there a little over a year ago, and I found the prices lower than Check Please's estimate.

I was there two weeks ago and our bill for 1 bottle of wine, 2 salads, 2 entrees, 2 desserts, 1 coffee, 1 cognac was $150.00 before tip.

We thought it was the bargin of the year given the quality/service/presentation.

The wine list in particular has wonderful bargins. We tried to buy a more expensive bottle, thinking that $30 wouldn't deliver anything that matched our food. Our waiter suggested a Portuguese wine that was excellent.

They also make a decent Manhattan...

Isn't May St. Cafe BYOB? There's a big cost saving right there.

I think DM is confusing May St Market with May St. Cafe.

Isn't Check Please's estimate based on an appetizer, entree, and dessert?
