I will be traveling to Vegas at the end of the month for a bachelor party. We want to plan a nice dinner preferably at a steak house for 10 people. A private room would be preferred. Price is not a concern.

We will be staying at the Bellagio. I have already thought of Ruth's Chris, Delmonico's, and Prime.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks,

    Jeff

Craftsteak at MGM Grand or Del Frisco's on Paradise.

Where is everyone staying? Is the group alright to take a cab ride? Do they have a vehicle? Logistics are a big deal in Las Vegas.

Everyone is staying at the Bellagio. It would be nice to leave the resort for an evening. We will not have a vehicle, so limo or taxi's are no problem.

I second the motion on Craftsteak at the MGM. Superb.

On my last visit, I was less enthralled with Delmonico's.
See, I'm an idea man, Chuck. I got ideas coming at me all day. Hey, I got it! Take LIVE tuna fish and FEED 'em mayonnaise!

Hugo's Cellar absolutely a fantastic dining experience, if you are willing to go downtown.

What about flay's place? The name escapes me at the moment, but it's supposed to be awesome.

Mesa Grill at Caesars Palace. It's actually really good. There's a few touches of too many squeeze bottle sauces, but all in all, the food is solid and well-prepared.

Thanks for the responses. I decided to book the chef's table at Smith & Wolensky's. It works out good for the size om my party.

We decided to do a package deal for food and liquor. Four course dinner with 1-1/2 hours of open bar.

Let us know how it turns out

I've done two bachelor parties for friends there (LV strip location) and they have done a great job with them even though they are far from my favorite steakhouse.

We did one party for 50 guys at they were flawless. They even closed off the upper floor for us and uh hired, some after dinner "entertainment" for us.

The dinner is this Friday. I will post how it turns out. We have reserved the chef's table which is a glass enclosed room in the kitchen. Sounds pretty cool. I have heard from others that Smith & Wollensky in Vegas are very cordial to bachelor type parties.
