Where can you sample the best ribs in the country, listen to great music and enjoy the great outdoors? The Forest Park Rib-Off of course. The Village of Forest Park is hosting our 2 nd annual Rib-Off Festival on Saturday, September 15 th , at the Altenheim Picnic Grove, 7824 Madison Street , Forest Park . Cash prizes are as follows: 1st - $750.00; 2nd - $500.00; 3rd - $300.00; Crowd Favorite will receive $100.00. There will be activities for all members of the family…..from 2 to 102…..including contestant rib sampling (at a nominal charge), live music by “Spoken Four” plus much more. Last year's event was a monumental success drawing an estimated crowd of 2,000 hungry people. This year's event is shaping up to be even bigger and better than the previous year.
