The marinated carne asada at trader joes is definitely worth a try if your into flavorfull, tender asada. Its sliced thin, and in just a few minutes on my Weber grill(old school) I am in the streets of TJ, although much more tender than the kind you get there. Some may find the salty citrus marinade a bit much, but it works for this gringo!

Not exactly sure what it's called but they make a similar chicken as well. Slice it up and throw it on the grill w. some marinated veggies, chile tortillas, refried beans and fresh salsa for some delish fajitas!

I've found the best use (to my tastes) is to use the meat sliced thin against the grain in a salad. The marinade is almost too overpowering on it's own, but when it's flavor is dulled a bit by surrounding it with greens, baby spinach, tomatoes, some roasted red peppers and a scattering of pickled jalapeno chunks, it becomes a nice compliment.

I'd rather marinate my own meat, but this is perfect for nights when I end up spending more time at the office than planned on, and I just want to eat something.
