Depends on what you consider low carb.

    From Original Father and Son:

    http://www.fatherandson.com

    "-- 100% WHOLE WHEAT PIZZA (12") --
    " Thinner than Thin "
    Artichoke & Plum Tomato (210 calories - 14 grams of Carbs)............. $14.95
A sprinkle of fontinella, parmesan, Romano and mozzarella cheese with garlic and olive oil sauce topped with artichokes and plum tomatoes served on our new whole wheat crust
    Spinach, Basil & Plum Tomato (225 calories - 14 1/4 grams of Carbs)... $14.95
Spinach and plum tomatoes, fresh basil, mozzarella and Romano cheeses, and a touch of olive oil served on our new whole wheat crust
Chicken, Mushroom & Fresh Basil (220 calories - 14 grams of Carbs)... $14.95
Freshly ground chicken breast with our special basil & olive oil sauce topped with mushrooms, scallions, mozzarella and Romano cheeses served on our new whole wheat crust
    CARB WATCHERS!
Serving size is two slices (whole pizzas are cut into 8 pie slices)"
Reading is a right. Censorship is not.

...interesting... so basically a low carb "pizza" is a cracker with sprinkles of cheeses and herbs... Funny, when I worked at the W Hotel we had similar "pizza" dishes.

I guess it just doesn't make sense to me... Kind of like a low carb burger. What's the point of a burger with no bun? Is it all just a psychological thing or do people really like this stuff?

Lou's does the crustless pie where the entire bottom layer is just a disk of sausage.

finally got around to ordering this. i personally hate lou M's deep dish/stuffed pizza. every time i've ever had it the dough was completely raw and undercooked inside.

    so here goes:
    Image ...the $26 crust-less pizza

    Image ..up close

...the pizza was actually pretty darn good, if you can call it pizza. it was great cold too. but i have a hard time getting past the $26 price tag for a large 2 topping pizza. it's not really even deep dish (though probably uses the same amount of toppings). the cheese was a little funky: I swear they put american cheese in too. I'm pretty convinced i could re-create it myself since there is no crust.

...well i'm not on the low carb diet (actually lately i've been "almost" low carb)... but some friends are and more importantly the SO is. but i enjoyed this pizza at least as much if not more than their regular deep dish /stuffed.

The term "stuffed" is usually applied only to the double-crust pizza served by Giordano's, Edwardo's, et al, and not to the single-crust pizza served at Malnati's, Gino's East, etc.

I've had their pizza numerous times, both on the premises and for carry-out, and I've never experienced that problem. <shrug>

"Low carb pizza" just sounds silly to me. If you want to eat low carbs, don't eat pizza.

On the other hand, if you want to eat pizza, don't eat some two crust stuffed gooey mess that's called pizza.

But, seriously, if someone wants to eat sausage low carb pizza in an effort to lose weight, more power to them. I can understand how the combination of sausage, cheese and sauce may approximate the taste of something that they're not otherwise allowed to have under a specific diet.
