I live up in Jefferson Park and can't find radicchio. I've only been to two places, Family Fruit Market and the Jewel on Irving Park/Pulaski. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Have you tried Lincolnwood Produce? I haven't been in a couple of weeks (kitchen out of commission for construction), so I don't know for sure if they have it, but they often do.

Oh, and Whole Foods at Cicero & Peterson is almost sure to have it...granted at higher than ethnic fruit stand prices.

This may be a little late, but Jerry's Fruit Market on Milwaukee in Niles will also have radicchio. It's a little bit of a drive from J. Park, but worth it -- huge selection, good prices. Every time I've been there it has been crazy-busy, though, so look out for old ladies wielding grocery carts.
