Eight or nine years ago I bought a then-new book, written by an Indian man, which was a thorough discussion of chili peppers. He began with the story of his youth in India, when he was indifferent to chilis, which indifference ended one cold British winter when he was at university. In the book he visited Hatch, South America, etc. chasing down the legends.
The book *might* have begun life as a
New Yorker article...
I loved the book, lent it to friends, and thereby lost it. I'd like to buy it again, read it again, and this time, KEEP IT! But unfortunately I can remember neither the title nor author's name. (Age marches on...)
Can anyone help?
TIA!!
Geo
PS. I *think* the book was yellow.
Sooo, you like wine and are looking for something good to read? Maybe
*this* will do the trick!
