I just got back from the Whole Foods on Peterson at Cicero. The first thing I see when I walk in is a sign for Michigan blueberries which sound great for dessert tonight. I look further and they are $9.99 for a 32 oz container!!!! You've got to be kidding me!!!!!

I love going in there, but sometimes they just bum me out! Am I just a cheap smuck or does anyone else find that price crazy? There was no mention of them being organic or anything like that, just that they were from Michigan. Thanks for reading my rant!

There were lots of Michigan blueberries at the Farmer's Market (Green City Market) on Saturday. Most ran around $4 or $5 per pint, with a bit of a discount if you bought multiples. Not sure what a flat was.

Was that ounces in weight or volume? I'm not sure what a pint of blueberries weighs...

I usually go to the Green City market on Saturday, but missed it this week! Slept a little longer than normal.

Yeah, based on what I see at farmer's markets, WF price is not really all that far out of the ballpark.
