Does anyone know why Taco Burrito Palace #2 near Lincoln, Fullerton and Halsted closed?

My husband and I were there all the time when we were in college, and we went to grab some burritos last Friday. To our shock and horror, we discovered it's a pizza joint! Needless to say, we were devastated.

Just curious if anyone knows what happened. Thanks. :(

I wish i could say it was because it is a terrible burrito, but it has in fact, only moved a couple doors north on halsted. same side of the street.

Mystery solved. I'll be the first to admit that I like TB#2, and actually ate there quite a bit when I lived in Lincoln Park and near DePaul (mostly after being overserved); however, I have to admit that I'm a bit surprised to see that TB#2 has such a passionate fan on this forum. I seem to recall TB#2 getting soundly bashed in past threads.

Count me as another fan of "The Deuce". I like their carne asada tacos (hold the crema), and their fries are some of my favorite.
