How would you spend your 21st birthday with a group of friends? Trying to help plan the night for a friend. Dinner, drinks, then dancing perhaps? All things don't have to be done at one location. Someone recommended Sound Bar for dancing; is that place fun? Carnivale's drinks menu seems good for fruity/girly drinks?

I spent My 21st Birthday at a Grateful Dead concert in Cleveland, Ohio. As this is a "culinary chat site" I can report that the only thing i ate that day of note was a member of the fungus family.
You might want to check out the something to drink forum for suggestions related to where to booze.

Are all the folks going over 21? Do you want to focus on food, drink or dance?

I recommend going to Darkroom for dancing (fun vibe, good music, no cover) and doing dinner beforehand. There are a number of good places that aren't far -- Bravo, Adobo Grill, Mirai, Bob San.
