Has anyone eaten there? Am I wasting my time going there for a burger or some random simple lunch food?

I've been to Mac's and have eaten there. It has been a couple of years though, so I don't recall any specifics. Pub grub from what I remember. There is a mention of Mac's in this thread.

Well I went there- for a chicken burger it was a touch pricey but it was ok. Nothing mindblowing, but I needed a simple flavor just to sit and settle my stomach. Having a hell of a day and a quiet bar with food I can forget is just what I needed.

Didn't know we only had an hour to respond sorry. They have a decent burger there, the fries are touch and go, sometimes they are great, sometimes limp. They do a good nachos, and when mussels are on the special board, they are not to be missed. It's a neighborhood beer and bar food place for me.
One of the best chicken sammies for the money is the chicken parm at Cafe Bionda in Wicker Park. Huge.
