Does anyone know how long vegetable shortening (crisco solid) lasts? I found 2 sticks, individually wrapped, in a cabinet today...there's no expiration date which could mean they're THAT old. However I'm guessing they're pretty old anyway.

Think I should just dump em?

    Yes.

When in doubt, toss it out.

    Hi,

I do the sniff text seeking any sign of rancidity.

I am with Gary on this. If you are not sure how old it is, toss it.

Yeah, they're gone. I'm close to positive that I moved them from old kitchen to storage into the new kitchen...and I'm in my new one almost 2 years. LOL LOL
