OK I have some good memories from college of St. Ides, mostly the mixed fruit flavor...but nobody in Chicago seems to carry it. I contacted a distributor in who says they still make it, but does anyone know where I get some of this malt liquor deliciousness !???

Have not seen it--but does it differ drastically from Boone's Farm fruity malt beverages? Those were my poison of choice my freshman year. Fortunately, my taste has improved. :)

I know I've seen Boone's Farm at Sam's in Lincoln Park. Maybe try giving them a call? They seem to have nearly everything.

Everyplace has Boone's. I've even seen them over the open top freezers at H-Mart!
When I grow up, I'm going to Bovine University!

Yeah, definitely different than the Boones.. which was good at the time too ;)

I'm going to have to start cold calling suburban liquor stores...

jeez man that stuff is rough what's even rougher is their 40oz... well this was awhile ago but i remember P&K Liquor in Des Plaines had a selection of St Ides and Mad Dog drinks also if you goto berwyn/cicero area their liquor stores usually stock these types of drinks; i found rarer 40s there like camo and Big Bear as well as the juice type drinks you mentioned but this was maybe 4 or 5 years ago... i guess if you are just wanting to remember the experience it be cool but i wouldn't straight booze on the stuff...

well did some research for you bud and St. Ides is manufactured by Pabst (So is Shlitz, Colt 45 and Private Stock for that matter). im not sure if they still make the drinks you mentioned but here's a distributor list for you:
